Fieldbus

Data communication with the crane PLC is implemented via TCP as standard. All the information required for optimum control of the crane is exchanged between Cranium and the PLC. It is not always possible to use TCP for older systems or for special infrastructural requirements. In this case, the fieldbus module comes with a CODESYS Soft PLC, which is combined with the required fieldbus hardware. We currently support interfaces for Profinet, Profibus and CANopen.
